The ark in a synagogue (also called the Torah ark or holy ark) is generally a receptacle, or ornamental closet, which contains each synagogue's Torah scrolls (Sifrei Torah (ספרי תורה) in Hebrew). This children's Aron Kodesh is perfect for the classroom. It fits up to 3 of our large classroom Torah scrolls, and of course our medium and small Torah's. Size: 25" X 18.5" X5.1".

Inside dimensions are: 19.5" H x 15" W x 3.75" Deep.

Please note: This Aron Kodesh is crafted for us by a carpenter in New Jersey. We ship it to the customer fully assembled, which unfortunately increases it's price. The finishing is not at the level of an Aron Kodesh you would see in a Synagogue - It is intended for a classroom. The sides are veneered.
